What is Health Coaching?

What is often missing in the recovery of a person with problematic eating (emotional eating, compulsive eating, stress eating, overeating) is a change of THINKING…it is about moving from automatic, compulsive thinking to mindful, rational thought. Although it seems quite easy and obvious that one should simply adjust their thinking and make different choices, it is often not so simple due to habit behaviours, unwritten rules that shape actions and distorted perception. As a Problematic Eater (emotional eater, compulsive eater, stress eater, overeater), you may feel like there is no stopping when the food trigger is engaged. You may struggle with the ability to use food as its true purpose rather than a tool to mask what is really going on. Those who do not suffer from Problematic Eating are able to use food as nourishment, and as a tool for self care. Eaters who eat ” normally” are able to choose foods they want and they eat to live rather than live to eat. Essentially, their thinking around food is not distorted. The exciting news here is that this thinking can be adjusted and therefore complete healing is possible for anyone. Working with me is a fit if :
